The quarter horses at Drake Ranch are bred with one thing in mind, gathering and working cattle. We have selected brood mares that reflect the AQHA foundation breeding, and have bred to great Waggoner Ranch studs such as Just A Swinging Poco, Doc O Boots, Poco Tuck Zero, Double my Whiskey, and Greyt Whiz.  Our horses have unparalleled cow sence and athleticism. Whether your out in the middle of a pasture branding calves, at a roping or ranch Rodeo, or in a weastern pleasure show, our horses and blood lines have done it all.
